Volunteers needed on event day to help receive electronics.

The 15th Annual Skinker-DeBaliviere Planting Day will also be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 10am-12pm, at the Four Corners, Greg Freeman Park. Operation Brightside flowers will be available for planting in our parks and other public places, and Block Captains can pick up their ordered flowers.

This is also a chance to drop-off plants that are crowding your garden, or pick-up free plants that your neighbors had to thin out.  Wood chips will be available for public planting areas and grass seed packets will be available for small bare spots in lawns.

After we have made our favorite place to live a little greener, join us for free hot dogs and sodas from 12pm-1pm… where you can sign-up to help keep the flowers at Four Corners watered throughout the summer.
