2011 BBQ Concert Series

:::::: 2011 BBQ Concert Series ::::::

All concerts will be held at the Four Corners Greg Freeman Park. Each concert (with the exception of the MLK Concert on 7/23) will start at 6:00pm. And while you’re out don’t forget to try the world-famous, Ludholz brothers homemade BBQ available at every concert!

Saturday, July 23rd: MLK “Living the Message” Concert featuring Three local choirs, including the St. Roch Choir, the New Cote Brilliante Church of God Gospel Choir, Mt. Olivette Choir, and Two local musical groups including Grace and Peace Church and Grace Methodist A diverse group of fellowship music from around the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  (Note: This concert will start at 6:30pm)

Tuesday, August 2nd: National Night Out Concert featuring Mama Tried – A musical mix of old and new acoustic music, blues, and a little bluegrass.

Saturday, August 27th: Rags to Riches Concert featuring  The Saint Louis Classical Guitar Society Orchestra – Over a dozen guitarists performing various songs together including Brazilian music, a Baroque sounds  from the 1500’s, Spanish music, and more!

Saturday, September 17th: September Concert featuring  Misla – Traditional Irish music from two SD residents: Mary Walsh and Kelly Winter plus an exciting dance troupe of talented Irish dancers performing traditional dances.
