2014 CSA Registration is Open

2014 Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program
Now in its 4th year in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood, the Lee Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program delivers a weekly share of produce to SD residents – and nearby neighbors! – who have signed up to receive a box all season.
Share boxes contain 6 to 10 items and weigh approximately 7 to 10 pounds.  The weight of the box will fluctuate across the season as a box containing the early season lettuces and greens will not weigh the same as a box containing potatoes and melons or winter squash and pumpkins. Boxes are delivered for twenty weeks, June thru October. You may take one “vacation week” to skip a delivery and get your final box in the 21st week.
The Lee family will again be offering the popular farm tour in 2014 so you have the opportunity to see first-hand how and where your food is grown and experience some fun on the farm! They take pride in the fact that everything you receive in your Lee Farms CSA share box is grown by the family right on their farm in Truxton!
The 2014 CSA is now accepting signups for new and returning members. Details can be found in this year’s brochure. The sign-up period will remain open until the program reaches capacity – currently, there are still spots available. To reserve your spot in the 2014 Lee Farms CSA, please send in your Registration Form along with 50 percent of your share price. The remaining 50 percent balance will be due by June 30th.
If you have any questions about the 2014 CSA, please don’t hesitate to email the Lee family at rusty@leefarms.net or call Rusty on his cell at (314) 954-0551.
“We are looking forward to growing food for your family again this year!” -Rusty, Teresa, William & Doralynn Lee
