Wabash Station Visioning Session

Wabash-Post-Card-Front[1]

Saturday June 7, 8:30am-Noon

Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience, 450 Des Peres Ave.

Join Citizens for Modern Transit and SDCC for a public visioning session for the historic Wabash Station. Currently owned and cared for by Joe Edwards, the building sits at the natural entry point to the MetroLink from Delmar Boulevard. Revitalizing the building as the main entrance to the MetroLink is a high priority for area stakeholders.

Building upon recent Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) planning efforts, this session will articulate a community vision for reactivating the Wabash Station as the primary entrance to the Delmar MetroLink Station, which will serve as a catalyst for future development along Delmar Boulevard.

This visioning session was made possible by a grant from RiseSTL. Formerly Regional Housing and Community Development Alliance (RHCDA), Rise acts as a resource and partner to the community, bringing together nonprofit organizations, financial institutions and government that make successful neighborhood revitalization possible.
