If you want to learn more about the 2015 program, read on for a note from Lee Farms’ own Rusty, Teresa, William and Doralynn Lee:

We are excited to begin the sign up period for the 2015 CSA season!

The cost for the 2015 CSA share will remain the same as in 2014 at $495. The Lee Farms CSA share will be packed in the same size boxes as last year and will contain 7 to 10 items. Families who want additional produce and purchase multiple shares will receive a 10% discount.

One of the concerns we heard from you was that the share provided more produce than smaller families were able to eat in a week. To help alleviate this concern, we are adding the option for a Bi-Weekly Delivery in 2015. The Bi-Weekly share box will be the same as the share boxes for the Weekly Delivery.  Our intention (as long as the chickens cooperate) is that the Bi-Weekly option will always include eggs with their share. The cost for the Bi-Weekly option for 10 deliveries is $325.

We will continue to offer the “Vacation Box” option again this year for CSA members who receive the weekly delivery. More details in the brochure.

As always, the start of the 20 week season (or 10 week season for the new Bi-Weekly Delivery) will be dependent upon the weather, but we are planning for the first delivery to occur in late May/early June.

We will again be offering the popular farm tour in 2015 so you have the opportunity to see first-hand how and where your food is grown.

We are now accepting sign-ups for both returning and new members. The sign-up period will remain open until we reach capacity. To reserve your spot in the 2015 Lee Farms CSA, please send in your sign up form along with 50 percent of your share price. The remaining 50 percent balance will be due by June 30thLeeFarms 2015 CSA Brochure and sign-up form
