The Skinker DeBaliviere Neighborhood Services Committee (NSC) is hosting a community workshop in partnership with the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA). A representative from SLAAA will give an overview of the services that are available to St. Louis older adults and persons with disabilities (18-59 yrs), who reside within the City of St. Louis.  Community members will also have a chance to ask any questions that they have about SLAAA’s services.

SLAAA provides a comprehensible and coordinated system of community-based services for older adults in the City of St. Louis and their caregivers. The Agency’s objectives are to secure and maintain maximum independence and dignity in a home environment and encourage economic, social and personal independence of older persons by providing opportunities for employment, socialization, and volunteer activities in the community.
