April 15th: 2012 GO! STL Marathon Skinker DeBaliviere Cheer Station

Sunday, April 15th, 7:45am-11:45am
[Corner of Delmar and Des Peres next to new Delmar Hot Dog Restaurant]

Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood has once again been selected as a cheer station for the GO! St. Louis Marathon on Sunday April 15th.  We would love to have you, your family, and friends participate in cheering on the runners! Our theme this year is a Michael Jackson tribute to get runners pumped up and energized to finish the last few miles of the race. Our neighborhood could win $1000 if we’re selected by the runners as the best cheer station! It’s definitely not required to come in MJ attire but feel free to wear your silver/gray/white gloves, fedoras, sparkles, red shirt or bow tie, afro/jheri curl, inspirations from MJ in the early days or later years, or anything else you may think of in the spirit of MJ! We’ll be there cheering for the runners, playing MJ music, and who knows–maybe we’ll even see a few folks break out in the moonwalk or a Thriller dance! Be sure to bring the kids and forward this message on to your neighbors!
